What is it about summer that makes people want to shop? Maybe it’s the warm weather and open sidewalk boutiques. Perhaps it is because stores bring out their most colorful and decorative summer gear, ready to be purchased to spruce up a room in our home. Some of my favorite TV programs include home decorating or design shows where a team of experts recreate a room of the homeowner’s choice. Sometimes the condition of that one room makes me think what the rest of the house looks like! Either way, 9 times out of 10, the homeowner ends up getting a chic new spot that they feel comfortable in.
